Estate Administration
We understand this is a difficult time so we do our best to ensure the legal aspect of administering an estate is as stress free and simple as possible.
We assist Executors by explaining the will terms clearly and ensuring the Executors meet all of their legal obligations. Some of the aspects we assist with are:
• Obtaining probate or Letters of Administration from the High Court
• Arranging for banks to pay funeral costs direct and to withdraw/close estate bank accounts
• Transfer ownership of property to executors or the beneficiaries
• Assisting with the sale of estate property
We can also provide advice to a person who believes they have not been adequately provided for under a will and assist them with making a claim against an estate.
